21.09.2017 – We are in Brunello, in the heart of the magnificent Sienese hills, in the southern part of Tuscany, immersed in the wonderful scenery of the Val d’Orcia.
The name of the winery was born from the root of the bush, the shrub that forms the woods that embrace the estate: the macioca, precisely.
The winery covers an area of about 6 hectares and comprises 3 hectares of vineyards classified in Brunello di Montalcino.
It is a dream that come true. An amazing challenge and a great opportunity to expand our horizons and confront us with a territory considered as a point of reference in the oenological landscape and Italian wine growing, and not only. But also a great opportunity to give greater shine to our brand Famiglia Cotarella.
With the harvest 2017 we started this exciting adventure and, thanks to the excellence product quality, we decided to buy the stock of Brunello starting from the vintage 2006, included the Reserve 2011 and 2012, and start the selling from now.
