TASTING NOTES

The wine has a salmon pink color. It has a long lasting effervescence and a fine mousse. The wine is elegant and rich. The nose presents hints of red fruits (strawberries and raspberries).
It has has a full and well-balanced body.

White chalk under a thin clayey lay, depending on parcels.

Vilmart

A family company founded in 1890 with Desiré Vilmart Laurent Champs, (chef de cave, last descendant and fifth generation of the Vilmart family). It combines the organic approach with traditional wine-making where fermentation and fining take place in wooden casks and, above all, there is no malolactic fermentation consequently the natural acidity of the grapes remains intact. The estate, in the Montagne de Reims region, is made up of 11 hectares divided into 12 lots. There are seven Cuvées.
