The wine has a straw-yellow color and a delicate and persistent mousse. It has notes of hazelnut and croissant on the nose. After a few minutes, scents of vanilla and dried fruit blend to the notes of lemon. The aroma is elegant and powerful, which indicates a wine of great complexity and harmony. At the taste, the wine has notes of butter, crème brûlé and spices. It is generous and fresh.

A family company founded in 1890 with Desiré Vilmart Laurent Champs, (chef de cave, last descendant and fifth generation of the Vilmart family). It combines the organic approach with traditional wine-making where fermentation and fining take place in wooden casks and, above all, there is no malolactic fermentation consequently the natural acidity of the grapes remains intact. The estate, in the Montagne de Reims region, is made up of 11 hectares divided into 12 lots. There are seven Cuvées.
